Dry January in Islington
Alcohol charity Alcohol Concerns has relaunched its popular Dry January, a campaign which saw over two million drinkers in the UK give up alcohol for 31 days. Health benefits can include significant weight loss and getting a better nights sleep for those going tee-total, but how is it affecting our much-loved bars and pubs? Michael Jennings goes to Upper Street in Islington to investigate.
He took to the streets to find out what the public think.
If you’re doing dry January and are stuck for things to do, don’t despair. We’ve put together a list of events in the next week to keep you off the alcohol.
