Plea for attendees after man dies alone in Holloway flat
A memorial service is being held tomorrow morning in honour of Kenneth Williams, an elderly man whose body was found at his flat in December, approximately six weeks after his death.
A campaign in search of Mr Williams’ friends and family has been underway since the time his death to draw attention to his funeral service, which is due to take place tomorrow. Andreia Rola, previously a neighbour of Mr Williams, is running the campaign. Posters are up requesting other residents to attend the service tomorrow morning.
His neighbour of twelve years, Loredana Raschle said “He was so friendly. He was always smiling, but he kept to himself.” Mr Williams was a widow and his daughter had died of cancer two years before he had passed. This is said to be the reason he was withdrawn.
The funeral service taking place tomorrow morning, has been arranged by the council and will start at 9.30am at St Pancras and Islington Cemetery Crematorium, in 278 High Road, N2 9AG.
