BREAKING NEWS: WOMAN STABBED TO DEATH IN ISLINGTON

A woman has died after being stabbed at a block of flats in Islington last night. Police were called to Jessops Court at 11.50pm on Sunday, 31st January by a man who claimed to have killed a woman. Officers found a woman suffering knife wounds to the throat and detectives have now launched a murder investigation into her death.

They gave first aid until the London Ambulance Service arrived, and London’s Air Ambulance also attended but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of murder and taken into custody at a north London police station. At this stage, Scotland Yard have said they are not looking for anyone else in connection with the death.

Next of kin haven’t been informed and enquiries to get in contact with them are ongoing.
