Tomorrow is Pancake day, all the excitement for bananas and chocolate spread! But what is going on around the area?
Pancake Day or Shrove Tuesday as it is also known is the day before the Start of Lent. Pancake Day will always fall 47 days before Easter Sunday and the dates will vary between 3rd February and 9th March.
Islington:

Crepe Affair in Islington have got Crepe Man judging your pancakes. All you need to do take a selfie of the crepe you have created and Crepe Man will choose the winner! If you get chosen as the winner, you will win a years supply of pancakes!

The Breakfast Club in Hoxton is running a Pancake Day competition. The competition is seeing if someone can eat 12 pancakes in 12 minutes. If you are able to do this then you will get the pancakes for free, if not you will have to pay for the 12 pancakes!
City News Reporter, Vineeta Sathiamoorthy interviewed Tom Williams, Assistant Manager of The Breakfast Club in Hoxton. Tom explains what happens after someone gets to six or seven pancakes.
