The UK has the highest proportion of social media users in the world, even though platforms such as Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn were born in the US. It seems like Brits can’t live without being constantly connected. But will Silicon Roundabout ever truly rival Silicon Valley? Martina Andretta starts her journey at the London Bloggers Meetup to find out whether London will become the social media capital of the world and what it will take to get there.
