Only seven weeks into 2018 and London has already exceeded its pollution limits for the whole year. In reaction, Hackney and Islington are set to ban petrol and diesel cars during peak commuter periods. The consultation on the proposed ban, set to end on February 14th, follows last year’s launch of the T-Charge, Sadiq Khan’s latest move to improve the capital’s air quality.
