VIDEO – Meet the disability campaigners fighting for more Changing Places in London
According to the new London Plan, the capital is to get more Changing Places toilets, special facilities for people with multiple and profound disabilities.
Standard accessible toilets do not meet the needs of an estimated 250.000 people in the UK and campaigners are calling for more changing places to be installed in London and the UK.
With the exception of the Barbican and the Emirates Stadium, there are virtually no changing places facilities available in Islington and Clerkenwell, making visits to the boroughs incredibly difficult for some people.
